Dr. Lisa-Ann Fraser

 

 

Dr. Fraser is a practicing endocrinologist specializing in the treatment of metabolic bone and calcium disorders with a special emphasis on osteoporosis. She graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto. Subsequently, she completed her residency in internal medicine and subspecialty training in endocrinology at Western University. Dr. Fraser pursued further training with a Master of Science degree in health research relating to osteoporosis from McMaster University.
Before moving to full-time community practise, Dr. Fraser led a successful academic career as a full-time faculty member at Western University from 2012-2016 where she was the director of the London Regional Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease Program of St. Joseph’s Health Care. Dr. Fraser continues to play a leadership role in osteoporosis care in Canada, where she sits on the Scientific Advisory Committee for Osteoporosis Canada, and is an active member of the national guidelines committee.
